Purchasing Sails
Aloha from Honolulu! Little Breeze is in need of a new mainsail. I believe it's the original one that was used on the sail over from the mainland. Since this is all new to me, I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to let me know if I can get it through Montgomery or somewhere else. Even a good used one would suffice. I also would like to ask what the numbers mean on the sail. I know what the "M15" means but do the other numbers on the sail signify anything? Ours says 117. Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday season! We celebrate Christmas...so from Little Breeze and her crew...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! or as they say in Hawaiian...MELE KALIKIMAKA!!! Thanks all, Jen -- Jennifer Tiernay Certified Homes Services, LLC P. O. Box 75091 Honolulu, HI 96836 http://360.yahoo.com/gently444 RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED

Jen, The number on the sail is the hull#. This also can be found as part of the identification number found on the transom of the boat. (Upper right hand corner on the outside rear of the boat). Your boat is hull #117 which means it's cica 1981?? The date can also be found as part of the identification number. I can't remember which position is used to denote the date of manufactur. I believe it is a four digit alph numeric with the first two digiits signifying the month and the last two digits representing the year. (0A81- A=January; 81=1981) This is all from memory, so take it for what its worth. Maybe someone else from the listserv and be of more help.
