I recently bought a T30 Prowler trolling motor to use in lieu of my 2hp 2stroke Yamaha for my M15 "Prelude", and I am trying to figure out how to connect it to my battery which is located under the v-berth for weight distribution. The motor came with with cables, 4-5 ft long, so I bought a 15' cable extension with built-in fuse. I want to run the cables inside the hull, out of the way, but also want to be able to easily disconnect the electric motor in case I anticipate the need for the extended range of the Yamaha.
