This year the event has been moved to February - 17-19 2017 race events on all three days - WICR is Saturday and Sunday. Racing will be one day round the bouys and one day around the islands. for sightseeing (plenty of wildlife) - the javelina will ALL be there because Jerry is going hunting down by Tucson!! Burros, coyotes, bald eagles and more will be available for viewing. Camp cruising on following days if you desire - contact me for possible group 'micro-cruise' if enough are interested. Very low key racing and Wrinkleboat designer and builders will be present. Inquiring minds can get answers. Sage 15 and Sage Cat will be sailing, along with all the 'oldies'. The Governors Cup held last Saturday was the first in the 'Triple Crown' series - Birthday Regatta is the second event.
