EBAY - Montgomery 10 for sale
I visit EBAY to buy & sell periodically. Tonight I found a Montgomery 10' sailboat for sale in SoCal. Anyone interested go to EBAY and look at Item number: 2472132500 Description: Montgomery Sailboat Vehicle Description This little daysailor is in terrific conditon. Has brand new jib and the main sail is in good condition. Everything on it works great. It is located in Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard, California. It has no trailer, but can easily be hauled in the back of a pick-up truck. You will be very happy with this little sailor. I'm sure she'll sell for alot more - At the moment the price is at $520.00. Hope no-one on the list is bidding. Or I may be giving away a possible good deal. Regards, Bill
No bids from me, Bill, but only because I have no idea how I'd get the boat from Oxnard to Michigan. :-) Oh, yeah, and I can't afford the boats I have . . . If an M-Lister is bidding, good luck and let's see the pics of your new baby when you have her! --Craig ----- Original Message ----- From: <BILLAMICASR@aol.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, April 09, 2004 11:12 PM Subject: EBAY - Montgomery 10 for sale I visit EBAY to buy & sell periodically. A puzzling thing is that the 10 didn't have a jib; only a main. I wonder if he could have a 12 and is confused about the length. . . . Sold . . . Looking at the pics, it's exactly the boat I'd like to have for sailing small inland lakes. Wonder if Bob would consider reviving it? Perhaps Jerry didn't sell those molds to Bob. Perhaps they no longer exist? Looks like a good competitor to the Fatty Knees. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Montgomery" <jmbn@innercite.com> To: "For and about Montgomery Sailboats" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Saturday, April 10, 2004 1:09 AM Subject: EBAY - Montgomery 10 for sale A puzzling thing is that the 10 didn't have a jib; only a main. That's a real nice looking boat, Jerry! She looks speedy! It sounds like you haven't looked at the pics; It must be the 12 because she's clearly set up for a jib and just plain looks too sleek to be 10' long. Wow, two extra feet for free! ****************** I dropped Busca off to get some fiberglass work done: sink drain and knotmeter thru-hulls removed and filled, instrument holes (old fishfinder & knotmeter) on cockpit fwd bulkhead filled. Meanwhile I'm fleshing out the wiring diagram and figuring out the hows and wherefors of it...'twill be an education for me! Tod
That is a 12. I own one. It is very fast. Michael ----- Original Message ----- From: <htmills@bright.net> To: "'For and about Montgomery Sailboats'" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Sunday, April 11, 2004 11:09 PM Subject: RE: M_Boats: EBAY - Montgomery 10 for sale
