Hi Bill: I've got a '79. What can I tell you? It's a great boat. $7k seems a hair on the steep side, unless it's in really great shape and includes newer sails and motor. I paid $4100 for mine a few years ago, but it needed a little work and came without a motor. That was four years ago.
