Hey, can anyone send me pictures of how to reef the main & jib on my M15 ? or maybe a 1000 words. Not sure how to rig the reefing lines. thanks, Neil
For the M15 mainsail, look in the West Marine catalog for a diagram of single-line reefing. You can use that arrangement, or use separate line for the fore and aft (tack and clew) corners of the sail. For the clew, you need an eye on one side of the boom and a cheek block on the opposite side, each about 2 inches aft of the clew reef tack as it comes down to the boom. Send me a personal email and i'll send you photos, since this email list won't handle the required file size. --Gary Hyde gmhyde1@mac.com 2005 M17 sailboat #637 'Hydeaway 2' We can't change the wind, but we can trim our sails.
