I am sorry to write to you that our fellow M-boat sailor Gordon Gilbert passed away on April 15 after a fight with cancer. He was 58. I did not know him very well, but we sailed together a few times, and it was always great. I particularly remember our last trip together to Door County, WI, in September 2010. We sailed together during one day down from Sister Bay to Egg Harbor, he in his beautiful M-17, Sapphire, and me and my kids in mine. I am sure many of you have good memories of him.
