In an earlier posting to my electrical installation question,it was strongly suggested that I use a strain relief device at the Masthead to hold the electrical wiring and the coax for the antenna. I went to an electrical store and asked for the strain relief device they would use to attach a cable to a pole. The only thing they offered was a basket strain relief with an electrical box connector on the end. I can figure out a way to use it but there must be something made for the task. What is it called and where would I find it? Thanks Doug Kelch "Seas the Day" __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Doug, If you are running the upper end through a tight grommet and configuring a slight downward loop in the wire (to allow rain to drip off outside rather than running down the wire inside the mast) I see no use for a strain relief. Hanging through the grommet is plenty of relief - it isn't as if you are stringing the wire between two poles and the wire isn't so heavy it will tear loose. Plus, if you are snugging the wires inside the mast to keep them from slapping, that would be more relief. My 2 cent's worth Stan
