Hi Gang, Fenders under the water is about right. Ramp angle and steepness has a lot to do with it. I calculate roughly looking at a launch site that 17 feet from the shoreline the water level next to the dock needs to be 4 feet deep. At that point my truck tires are in about 6 inches of water. I have the Trailrite stock trailer. 1976 M17 #92.
