Craig, You've already considered the Ebrake... How about this... I saw you mentioned roadster. If that's the hotrod type, you may be familiar with an item called a "line Lock". What it does is allows you to lock the front brake on and then release them with a button or switch on the dash or shifter (used in drag raceing). May be more trouble than it's worth. Just a thought.
