Ladder for Montgomery 15
After using a removable ladder for a few years I think I'd like to install a permanent ladder on my boat. I know there have been discussions about good ones here before and thought I would bring the topic up again and ask the question: what is a good permanent ladder for a Montgomery 15? Thanks! David: the ones with four transom connections are better than two. be sure to install good sized backing board (especially with one of the two instead of four connections). see pictures of what happens when a two-connection boarding ladder fails - http://www.sagemarine.us/forum/showthread.php?380-Installing-transom-backing... a nice four connection ladder is made by Garelick. model 18017. Doug Kelch found another model that he installed on the Sandpiper ... maybe Doug will see this and comment. :: Dave Scobie --- On Sun, 9/30/12, David Grah <d_b_grah@yahoo.com> wrote:

For sure find out what Doug Keltch has on the gaff headed M-15. It successfully hoisted my fat, frozen, scared, ass out of Monterey Bay.
