Re: M_Boats: 4-Stroke Outboard, Break-In, Vibration
Hi Craig, My 2 HP 4 cycle Honda doesn't vibrate, runs totally reliably, and is the best motor I've ever owned. It is also very quiet, as behooves a proper sail boat motor. That 10 hour break-in period is probably the standard paragraph for any motor. That's just to keep the kids from giving it full throttle right out of the box. Since you will only be using half throttle anyway, that is break-in RPMs! Enjoy! Connie
Thanks, Connie! I was envisioning a day spent nursing a running outboard suspended in large-capacity trash-can of water. --Craig ----- Original Message ----- From: <chbenneck@juno.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2003 10:07 AM Subject: 4-Stroke Outboard, Break-In, Vibration Hi Craig, My 2 HP 4 cycle Honda doesn't vibrate, runs totally reliably, and is the best motor I've ever owned.
