Gary, I took a look at your photos earlier this year when i was in the planning stages of where to place a bimini, and really liked how you set yours up. Probably wouldn't matter all that much, but I was reluctant to change the angle of pull of the mainsheet on the boom by changing the bale location and wanted more headroom. Glad to hear of your report of no problems with mainsail sheeting. I also like to mess around with new ideas, which occasionally makes things more complicated than they need to be, but am enjoying the shade! George M17 #600
