Will all due apologies to Bob Eeg as well famous designer Jerry Montgomery but the first upgrade I did on my M15 was to upgrade to a IDA Rudder for the following reasons: Trailerability (I can leave the rudder on all the time when towing) saves me TIME at the ramp both ways J I can mount my mast crutch on the rudder assembly (which I do again for time) I love the blade shape and how easy it is to raise and lower In 20 knots of wind and +2 ft Chesapeake bay chop the steering as been spectacular with the IDA assembly. Now I am not knocking the stock blade and assembly but point #1 was my top priority. Smiley and Karen magoo252@comcast.net
