Hi Bobbie If you don't get the wheel bearings repacked, you will keep wondering if it should have been done? Are the bearings going to last for the trip? ..... and will I get home safely? If you have the bearings repacked, you KNOW that they have been inspected and also have been repacked with fresh grease. Therefore that gnawing anxiety - are they OK? ...will they last for the trip? .....are they making noise? ....what could that be? .....and why didn't I get them repacked before the trip, all disappear. Now you know they are repacked and are in good shape. Do it! One less item to worrry about. Connie M15 #400
