This is the first season I have kept Obsessus in a slip. Taking the rudder off and on is a pain. Any problems with keepng the rudder in the water all season? Tom Obsessus M17
Tom, I always left the rudder on when our M17 was slipped (usually 4-5 months). Grace's rudder was epoxy coated then varnished. It was always beautiful. No problems at all. Currently my M23 is in the water. Her rudder is painted with VC-17 below the waterline and varnished above. No problems yet. Mark M23 Faith
Thanks for the info on latches and rudder. Tom Obsessus M17 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roberta Dvorscak" <edarts93@earthlink.net> To: "'For and about Montgomery Sailboats'" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 04, 2004 6:33 PM Subject: RE: M_Boats: Rudder
