Montgomery 15 viewing in Washington State?
Hello MSOG sailors. I am new to your forum. I live in the Wenatchee area and sail a Potter 19 and a vintage Lightning around central Washington. My interest in a smaller, easier to rig and better sailing pocket cruiser has brought me to the idea of a M15. I have seen M17,s and read extensively about the M15... but I have never seen the 15 in person. I would love to see one and determine if it could work for me as a camp cruiser to replace my Potter. So ...if anyone out there in Central WA or the west side is willing to let me stop by and check out their boat I would appreciate hearing from you. I make pretty regular trips to Seattle area and could also head over to Coeur D Alene to see one if that works. I am retired so can meet pretty much anyone's schedule. I plan to attend the Pocket Yacht Palooza in Port Townsend again this year (July 22 I think) so I hope that may also be another opportunity to see one of your M15s. Thanks. Tom Graham
Try the S. end of Lake Couer D' Alene. There have been M-15s moored at Conkling Park in years past, and cabin owners on that end the lake with M-15s at their docks. Also check out the R2AK, which starts next Thursday June 8th at 5:00 AM from Port Townsend, there are M-15s entered in that event: https://r2ak.com/ Steve M-15 # 335 -----Original Message----- From: grahamtjr@frontier.com Sent: Friday, June 2, 2017 8:45 PM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: Montgomery 15 viewing in Washington State?
