Larry, I believe a previous owner made it. To install it on the boat, it screws to the companionway trim and the side pieces snap on. Tod

No, I've only used it once, on a two week cruise. One thing I would do differently if I were designing it from scratch, since it is a trailerable boat, is make it a quick-disconnect design rather than screwing it to the wood trim.
