Since I don't know the paint history on this boat(and some was peeling), I'm trying SmartStrip to get back to fiberglass. One application took off a green layer, blue layer, and most of red. One more thing application should clean it right up. -Gerry
Gerry, I use citrus strip. It works well on bottom paint and is a lot less toxic to work with than Smart Strip. Good luck, Tom B On Tue, Apr 2, 2019 at 11:10 AM Gerry Lempicki via montgomery_boats < montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> wrote:

Gerry, Do you know the trick of using plastic wrap like saran wrap over the paint remover so it doesn't dry prematurely? That way it will penetrate deeper and it doesn't take as many coats to get the paint off. Burt Sent from my iPhone
