Not an original idea, just haven't seen it yet. Brail the jib for quick reaction for too much breeze forward. I did it on my first M15 "Joy", and "Rejoyce!" will soon have it, too. In the meanwhile, I do have downhauls on both the main and jib. With my severe balance problem, I cannot race forward to lower either sail. Brailing does not solve the problem of how to change the jib, but it does dump the air out very quickly. When I get it installed on my latest M15, I'll try to share it. John R.
