Re: M_Boats: Mast-Section Question
Does anyONE have information on the M-17 mast extrusion i.e. weight per foot? (This may be one of those questions) Thanks in advance to those of you who saw a piece off and weigh it...you can saw off 6" and double the wt. I'll accept that! Gary O. Life is Good! Hi Gary- long time no see. I think I can get that info for you re the 17 mast- Bob E uses the same extrusion and has some short lengths out in the back. When I get back there (next week) I'll weigh one and get back to you if I can get Bob to bring his scales in. I don't have internet access there but can have Bob sent you the info. Or, someone could balance a whole M17 mast on the bathroom scales, deduct for rigging, and divide by the mast length in feet. There's no way to figure that one out, Bill, because the mast is longer than the boat. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill Riker" <wriker@mindspring.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, May 03, 2002 2:36 PM Subject: RE: M_Boats: Mast-Section Question
