Re: M_Boats: Looking for Anchor for M15
Hi Valerie and Kerry, I'm glad to learn of yet another M-Boat crew here in the Sacramento area! I reside in Roseville and sail Folsom Lake and other venues in the area, although it never occurred to me to launch in Loon Lake. Been up to Scotts Flat though. I sail with the Northern California Potter Yachters (http://www.potter-yachters.org), a great group of sailors. You should try and join up with us when the sailing season starts up again next year. Download some of the past newsletters and you'll see how much fun we have together throughout the year. Also I have been trying to get an informal sailing group together for pocket cruisers in the local area. We have never all been out at the same time, but I try and email the group so that when the conditions are right at least a few of us can sail as a group. We have an M15 in Woodland, Sacramento, and Fair Oaks, mine in Roseville, and an M17 in Lincoln, and Jerry with his Sage 17 also in Sacramento. Plus a P15 and a Compac SunCat. If you want to PM me I will add you to my email list and let you know the next time I sail and your email will be shared with those mentioned above. my email is: ndorf@surfbest.net Also one more thing. Although I'm not sure yet if I can make it again in 2012 (would be my 3rd year), the Lake Havasu Pocket Cruisers convention is a load of fun and a great way to meet pocket cruiser sailors from all over. You can find more information at http://www.sailhavasu.com. Best for the holiday season, Neil Dorf 1985 M15 "TwoCan" Roseville
