Anyone consistently using the toe rails to hoist the boat in/out of the water? I know Jerry said he used the toe rail at the factory - wondered about using this on a "weekly" basis with the 2-ton hoist at Alameda Marina? This is my 2nd M17 (bought a new one from Jerry in 1991 via Gale Stockdale!). Thanks for any input. Jay
Jay, I have never tried it with my M-17 , "Little Breeze" , but was told some time ago that others had. My concern was the toe rail fasteners which look to be 8/24 machine screws on 4" centers, being that "Little Breeze" is 30 years old I was reluctant to stress the screws and the fiberglas flange.
