Wrinkle Boat Mates I am in the process of cleaning and buffing my hull. Hop to splash next Friday slips are in. Last year I had a large white fender attached to the slip alongside the boat for extra protection. It sustained quite a large amount of material from the finder to the hull the cove strip (Forest Green}. My normal cleaning compound using a orbital buffer did not remove it. I have been working by hand on an area 12"x6" for an hour using a substitute for Turpentine less toxic and have made some progress but am looking for a better solution as at this rate I have at least 8-10 hrs. of work in front of me not to mention the fatigue factor on these 83 yr. old muscles. I seem to recall reading somewhere in the past about someone recommending a household product that was a great fiberglass restorer that might work. . Any suggestions are appreciated? followup question George ... are you saying the 'fender bits stuck to the hull'? -- :: Dave Scobie :: former M15 owner - www.freewebs.com/m15-named-scred :: M17 #375 SWEET PEA - www.m17-375.webs.com On Fri, May 8, 2015 at 10:04 AM, Dave Scobie <scoobscobie@gmail.com> wrote:

George, I've found acetone to be pretty effective in removing scuff marks from the hull. Rick M17 #633 Lynne L On Friday, May 8, 2015, George Iemmolo <griemmolo2@gmail.com> wrote:
