I am sure that trailers for the Monty 15 vary some in length, but does anyone know somewhat accurate overall length of their 15 on its trailer - tip of tongue to stern most end? I am starting my search for the right 15 but want to be certain that it will fit in my typical home garage. Many advance thanks! Fr. Jeff+
the 1986 original trail rite trailer, with a montgomery 15 with the original motor mount, is 18.5 ft. this is likely to be the shortest you will find. in some garage is the height is low and the bow pulpit will not clear with trailer attached to the car. Jeff; I have an 83 M15 with the Trailrite trailer with the fixed front mast carrier. The boat/trailer fit easily in my 20 foot deep garage. The motor mount adds several inches to the measurement Doug supplied. With the extra height of the mast carrier, I need to drop the trailer onto the skid plate to get it under the door. Not a issue since the tongue weight isn't that heavy and the boat/trailer moves easily. Don, M15-248 Dream Catcher On 1/10/2012 11:08 AM, Jeffrey Johnston wrote:
