No problem Dan, just take your shoes off. As long as it doesn't get over the cockpit seats you should be ok. Seriously, it's not a problem, just make sure the scupper is clean so it drains properly. It's a good reminder to "Check the drain" when you notice the water coming in and it should be reassuring to see it drain. Fair Tides, Rick Langer M15 #337

What size wooden plugs are used to stop water entering the M-15 when under way. Took the M-15 #478 for my first sail on Big Bear Lake last weekend. Quite a bit of water accumulated on the cockpit sole, particularly when heeled over on either tack. Dan
Dan, Instead of wooden plugs, I use two rubber stoppers for the two scuppers on my M-17. After determining the correct size, I drilled a hole in the center, put a stainless 'fender washer' on either side, then ran a stainless bolt ( or screw) through the assembly, then used a stainless wing nut to hold it together. Just stick them in the holes and tighten the wing nuts. All these items are available at your local Ace Hardware . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Langer" <farreach@optonline.net> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, June 21, 2005 9:47 AM Subject: M_Boats: Wooden Plugs for Cockpit
