Holly Cow, Went to work for 24 hours, came home, checked the list and ....You guys went-off on the "Geezer Thing"! lol Gary O. Jo and I are honored to be included in such an auspicious group...even though I'd like to tink that we barely qualify! (we are both 29 and holding you know!) To the new and aspiring members of the geezer clan....remember...a requirement (NOT A RULE as there are no rules!) of entry is that you get that Monty out and let her strut her stuff on the race course. Why? Cause any "true geezer" gets the biggest satisfaction from crossing the finish line in his/her M17, M15, or M23 and watching the faces of the "Sportboat crowd" as they do the math and figure out that Noahs Ark just kicked their butt on corrected time! (if not boat for boat). Does it manifest itself in a gloating, boastful display of poor sportsmanship?.....Nope.......Just and confident, classy, contented smile and gracious acceptance of congratulations from those who really understand and appreciate what a great boat and excellent sailing skills are all about.
