towing a dinghy with a dagger board slot

Not only do you need a plug in the dagger board slot, but ideally it should go all the way to the bottom of the boat, like a dagger board that has been cut off as it meets the bottom of the vessel. This way the dinghy tow better because there is less turbulence. I recommend carry a separate bilge pump as well so that it can be bailed out easier.
