I think I saw a Coors ad with self-cooling cans. In my opinion, it would be a fine idea if it didn't have Coors in it. As for the propane system in a camper ice-box, it uses lithium bromide and the absorption principle. Probably wouldn't be practical as a stove top unit, because in the end, it doesn't make cold, it removes heat. That means all of the warmth of the beer PLUS the stove input has to go somewhere, which is what the rack of coils does on the back of the refrigerator gets done. That would be a little ungainly to use on a stove top. But if you can figure it out, I would buy one just for the novelty. I can't say the same about the Coors.....
