Friends, Many of you may recall Keith Diehl. Keith started the M-List; I believe it was as far back as the mid-1990's. Keith's wife emailed to let me know he passed away in late July. Keith had been battling cancer. And as a result of the cancer treatment had developed a life-threatening condition. I had never met Keith, but we kept in-touch through the years and more so as he became ill. Some of you may have known him better than me and could possibly offer further information or reflection on his involvement with the M-Community. One thing his wife Karen shared with me was how much the M-Community meant to Keith; "Good People" she said. I agree! Randy Graves M17, CdA Idaho
So sorry to hear that. I never met Keith but I have spent many hours looking through the archives of old posts. My condolences to his family. Henry On Tue, Sep 22, 2020 at 8:37 PM Randy Graves <rkgraves@gmail.com> wrote:

Mr. Diehl, Thank you for shipping with us for a while and lending a hand to gather us all together. Time to tighten the sheets and catch the solar wind in your sails to cruise among the stars. Life is as short as a single twist of the log bobbing in the wake so we will all be aboard again with you soon enough. Fair winds, kindred spirit. Hi Randy, Thanx for the information. Please extend our condolences to his wife. Keith had been maintaining the Montgomery list for years after he stopped sailing. His selfless maintenance of the list should be a lesson to all of us. The last time I spoke with him was when he was seeking someone to take over the list. I recommended Dave as I thought he had all of the right stuff to carry on Keith's selfless act. salngailSage Marine In a message dated 9/22/2020 7:37:12 PM Mountain Standard Time, rkgraves@gmail.com writes: Friends, Many of you may recall Keith Diehl. Randy, send our condolences along as well. Keith did a lot for this group and we'll always be thankful for his work. We'll pray for Keith's wife and family as they cross the sea of grief. Mark Dvorscak M-lister since the 90s On Tue, Sep 22, 2020, 18:37 Randy Graves <rkgraves@gmail.com> wrote:

I’m sorry to here of Keith’s passing. His work on the list helped me meet one of the best friends I ‘ve ever had for which I will ever be grateful to him. Please give my condolences to his family and let them know that I’m sure he’s in that place where the sun is always shining, the wind is fresh and steady, and there’s an adventure waiting for him just over the horizon.
