Hi Skip, Thanx for the compliment. I'll let her know. No sister, sorry. But I will admit that I am a lucky man to have her. Actually, it's worse than you think. We have a Moore 24 that we've been sailing in local lakes for the past 27 years . We have a Monty 15 that we recently bought so we could get to know the marque better. Our new Monty 23 has yet to be delivered, but that's another story (an issue for which the moderators have asked that I do not discuss on this board. A request I will honor. You're welcome to email me). Jerry get's the prototype of the Sage 17. We'll get the first production boat, which we'll be showing at boat shows. Of course we'll probably be "forced" to sail it as well. sal M15 - "Justus" - 1986 - #361 M23 - #2 - being built In a message dated 4/22/2010 1:18:51 P.M. It's the fact that Gail is fine with the idea of you owning 3 boats!!!! (M-15, M-23, Sage-17) What a women!!! Does she have a sister???? I'm sure the design will be eggzactly" hat we're seeking. e'll be meeting with Jerry over the weekend. Sorting out deck issues, orts, etc. o far Jerry, Gail and I seem to be on the same page. We opted to go with backstay. A little longer to rig, but far more strength and control ver the shape off the main and better for the spinnaker option. e looked into a cast bronze centerboards, but they were very expensive, e'll more than likely go with a cast lead ballast in a fiberglass enterboard. I would guess that we would also offer a full keel option ( a la otu ti) for those with interest. t is exciting, although the only pressure is that Jerry want to sail the roto in July. Gail and I usually do things slowly and carefully. al 15 - "Justus" - 1986 - #361 23 - #2 - being built n a message dated 4/20/2010 9:23:36 P.M.
