Doug, thanks so much for keeping the site going as long as you did. It has been an invaluable resource. My best to you! Although pretty good in its (my) heyday, I find I can no longer maintain it as it should be maintained. Over the past several years, age and infirmity have gotten the best of me. I retired early about 14 years ago and no longer even remember how to program the site. It's not in very good shape anymore and needs to go. It will probably remain online for another month or so but I've decided not to make the $80 payment due in October (other half in April). So if there's any info you want from it, better get it while you can. Doug King msog@msog.org
Hi Doug, Thanks for all your effort and labor on the Montgomery website. Its been a wonderful source of information, and of camaraderie, with fellow M-boat owners for many years. As probably the oldest member of the Clan, who had to swallow the anchor years ago, I have enjoyed all the sailing stories and adventures. Cheers to you Doug, Connie (102) On 8/19/2022 8:35 AM, David Grah via montgomery_boats wrote:

Is there anything that we can do? I no longer have a Montgomery, but it seems a terrible shame to lose some of the information on the list. I would certainly donate to making the October payment. And, with instruction, I would copy and paste files or posts. I gather that converting to a different list is not possible? Thanks, Doug for a job well done. Maybe Gary O might think about doing this? He's smarter than he looks, or so I've heard. ________________________________ From: David Grah via montgomery_boats <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, August 19, 2022 6:35 AM To: For and About Montgomery Sailboats <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com>; orchardhillking@gmail.com <orchardhillking@gmail.com> Cc: David Grah <d_b_grah@yahoo.com> Subject: M_Boats: MSOG.ORG shutting down Doug, thanks so much for keeping the site going as long as you did.
