By the way, does anyone know the exact width of a 17 at the widest point (looks to be near the winches)? It's a tad tough to measure, and I need to set the gap between my new post roller guides. Is it really exactly 7'6"?
Tom, I have 7'4" listed in my boat info. Don't remember where I got that number from, though. Larry
7'-4" is the beam listed in the literature, but I don't know if it includes the deck flanges... Tod Mills M17 #408, 1987 galley model BuscaBrisas

Thanks Larry and Tod. My memory sucks; 7'4" is the beam on Bob's website, and I "remembered" it at 7'6". Since 7-4 will let the boat off the trailer and 7-6 won't, I am going to have to measure the sucker when I pull it from storage. My money is on 7-6, but I stay clear of Vegas.
