I did a little further research on the Maine cruising guides and found that the trailer sailor guide is the first in a series and it only covers Casco Bay. The other geographic regions are still in the works. Perhaps they will go to press in time for next summer's cruising. Meanwhile, the regular cruising guide exists. Here's a link to more info: http://www.coastguides.com/guides.html That web page, a work in progress, also has other information about the Maine coast: http://www.coastguides.com As a side note, one of the authors, Hank Taft, was related to the former President William H. Taft and current Ohio Governor Bob Taft. I wonder if he was considered the "black sheep" of the family by spending his time out sailing instead of running for political office? Unfortunately, the friendly young Beluga whale "Poco", who was well-known along the Maine coast has died, so we won't get to see him: http://outdoors.mainetoday.com/naturewatching/041121poco2.shtml Here is a web page by someone who actually met Poco while out cruising: http://www.sailzora.com/october_29_2004.htm Possibly up to 3 M-17's and 3 M-15's for this cruise so far!
