I just installed a Forespar Tiller Lock Box on my boat and I have a couple of questions for anyone who has use one or two. My TLB is on the port side so I can lock the tiller anywhere from amidship to hard to port, on the port side, but from amidship to only slightly to starboard on the starboard side. This limited starboard position is caused by the length of the tiller extention. Well I'm thinking I should put another TLB on the starboard side so I can lock the tiller hard to starboard. I haven't thought of all the reasons I should do this, but one is so I can heave-to on either tack. So is another TLB worth the expense and effort? Also, these TLBs, installed with the locking position down, look like they will be water collectors. Has anyone drilled drain holes or done anything to abate the water collection.
