Re: M_Boats: More M-10 Pictures and Progress
HI Jon, Grand work! She is coming along well.... I finally sailed my M6.8 on an area lake last summer. The day was breezy to challenge my yet to be developed dingy sailing skills. I tell you, it is a bit of a packing job to get my lanky long legs folded on the sole and be fluid enough to tack, duck from the boom, and not have the tiller end crack me in the back of the head. The M6.8 tacks like spinning an ice cube on a countertop. I think in the first outing, the dingy won. Being younger and 5'4" would work out better for sailing one of these pretty prams. Your M10 looks much more spacious. Keep the E-pics coming. back when my family had a minto the trick was to turn your back to the bow while spinning on your butt. it is quite a trick ... but when you get into the flow it was a hell of a lot of fun. dave scobie M15 #288 - SCRED --- On Sat, 11/29/08, bownez@juno.com <bownez@juno.com> wrote: I finally sailed my M6.8 on an area lake last summer. ...
