Having spent time gazing up the cb trunk of 064, I have to think one would be able to discern any bulging in that area. I was pleased...no...overjoyed to see 064's cb trunk is in great shape. t /)) Tom Smith & Jane VanWinkle M15/345--Chukar M17/496--Unnamed -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+tsmith=nextit.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+tsmith=nextit.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Nebwest2@aol.com Sent: Thursday, January 05, 2006 5:14 PM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: reply to howard Howard, I think that the problem is the rust on the board. It is substantial. But.....I haven't done any measuring up in the keel slot yet....Your questions makes me think I should. Possibly I will cut a block of wood to just shy of the width of the slot at the bottom. If I then attach it to a stick or something and pass it up or down in the slot it will let me know if there are narrow areas by binding up. Looking up there everything looks OK. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow. Thanks for giving methe idea. S _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
