Hey, Giles: Wood is fun, and I'm going to end up with two boats, because I'll never sell this one. I go out to the boat shed (used to be a garage), and just look at her sometimes. But I bet you do that to your glass boat as well. I really want one of each, and I don't quite understand the animosity some guys have towards glass. Well, if you look at the prices of used wood boats, I guess there is a reason. You can buy a wooden yacht for $5-6,000, and once you learn to use epoxy, just about every repair is doable.
