A new 2002 Nor'Sea 27 will be at..... The Annual Nor'Sea 27 Fest at the Oakland Yacht Club April 20th. (on a Saturday) Every year Nor'Sea owners converge at the Oakland Yacht club for a Nor'Sea fest. Nor'Seas come in from all over, some are already at the marina (6) and people fly in to see and talk Nor'Sea. We have a great dinner and drinks at the Yacht club. I know some of you who live in the Bay Area had asked where to see a Nor'Sea 27. We have just finished a brand new 2002 model that will be on display at Nor'Sea 27 Fest 2002. This boat was ordered in September and just finished a couple of days ago. The Surveyor said he had never seen a better built boat but I did have to buy him lunch. :-) This year we have many improvements (if you have been following the boat over the years) including: New fuel tank set-up. Water tanks are now removable and have nice clean out ports on them. A 3 switch master DC system for the new group 31 batterys. The Rudder seam is now epoxyed all the way around. The area where the bottom rudder gudgeon bolts up is now a solid fiberglass area instead of a hollow area. It runs concurrent with Pacific Sail Expo, at Jack london Square and we plan on having a M_boat in the show like we did last year.
