Saw this on craig's list, thought it was a good Montgomery story. I think one of us should buy her and sail her back...(by one of us, I mean not me) http://honolulu.craigslist.org/big/boa/3425970700.html -Joel -- Joel Santarone General Manager Rudder Craft www.ruddercraft.com 866-400-2204 toll free
So here's what we do. Interested parties organize a club, buy Little Breeze and keep her in Hawaii. Find a on-site person to keep an eye on her, pay the expenses and have a M-boat to sail when we're visiting. The Little Breeze Club. Any takers? Aloha, I plan to go take a look at her...she's in my neighborhood (finally an M-boat close enough to see in person!). That said, here's my amendment to your proposal: Interested parties buy Little Breeze and donate her (tax deduction!!) to Na Hoa Holomoku (a.k.a. Hilo Sailing Club, of which I am a member). We will take good care of her at our Hilo bayfront location and sail her regularly so that she is "warmed up" for when any interested parties come over to also sail her. Sound good? ;-) ;-) Plan B is, wait for the price to come waaay down (looks like it already has come down from the original listing) and then do the above. Plan C is, wait for the seller to realize that their best option is to just donate the boat to NHH for the tax deduction, and then I invite all here to come on over and sail her with us! ;-) If none of that happens, come on over and sail with us anyway...or sail your Montgomery on over... cheers, John S.
