Hi all, I mentioned that I will be selling my Monty 15 in an email response a few days ago and have received some questions so I thought I would respond to everyone's questions at once. I have a Montgomery 15 (2007) with a pretty blue hull. It's like new and has only been sailed a few times. Given my work schedule my wife "suggests" we sell it until we have more time to sail (and she's probably right). I had it rigged by a professional boat builder for single-handed sailing, e.g. furling jib, main sheet raised and lowered from the cockpit, a main-sheet setup that stays out of the way of the entrance to the hatch. Adjustable jack lines were installed so that the boom stays up when you lower the main. I also had a custom sail cover made that accommodates the jack lines. The boat is at my summer home in northern California (Lake Almanor). Lake Almanor is next to the town of Chester which is about an hour and 45 minutes northwest of Reno, Nevada. I bought the boat for $11,500 and then invested another $1500 in the upgrades listed above. I will be putting the boat up for sale for $11,000 (which includes a trailer). But I would sell it to one of my "Montgomery brothers" for $10,500. Thanks all, Rob Hicks robhicks@psycorp.com 972.745.7257
