Joe, I went with the 20" longshaft. I think the 25" would drag in the tilted up position, which is no good while sailing. The 20" should clear completely.
Thanks, Do you have the factory installed OB motor mount? If so, when you lower the unit, what is the clearance from the upper part of the bracket (where the OB motor hangs) to the water line??
