Hey Jeff! Good to hear from ya! Glad that Clarity found someone like yourself to get her going again. When she was stuck just sitting on her trailer year after year in Tucson, that was a real shame! We loved Sucia. What a beautiful spot...and Orcas ta'boot!!!! Woooohooo... We never got to see any on the two trips up there. I tell Larry that I am beginning to think whales are a myth and a cruel joke you guys are playing on me...that they really don't exist! LOL We are hoping to see some this weekend in Monterey and break the "Whale-less" streak! Thanks for the kind words on Big D. As I mentioned before....video is very kind to her. Her exterior gelcoat on the hull is shot and in real life looks nowhere near as good as on video.....she too is a candidate for an Awlgrip job when I win the lottery. She also has some pretty good bumps and bruises from riding out hurricane Irene and Rita at her dock in Punta Gorda just before we bought her. But she still gives us great adventures and takes care of us! Glad to hear that Clarity is prowling the Islands. Sooner or later we're gonna get back up there. What a great cruising grounds you have at your back door!! :-) S
Keep us informed of the next Mongomery/San Juan Islands trip.
