OK, I'm really not posting this to be a pain....but this my first post with my new laptop as well. An Apple iBook. Came home from work at 4:30, took a nap, opened the box at 7:00, and well, I was on the net in OS X in less than 30 minutes. Now I'm in OS 9 because that's what my email and newsreader files are currently in. Apple.........there's is no substitute. Bob Olson Former M-15 owner
Whew, after a mere 7+ hours of trying to set the new computer up as a dual-boot system with Windows XP and Xandros, a Linux Operating System (the laptop came from the store with Windows installed, here we are at last. No doubt, it wouldn't have been so exciting for me if I had actually a clue as to what I was doing. Actually, I can't be sure it's entirely correct yet, but here's hoping. Yes, "Phase I" of the plan for summers afloat aboard BuscaBrisas.
Webmaster Doug, you'll be glad to know that your web page (yes, I've checked it out already) looks beautiful and the menus are working for me just fine now!!!!!!
