Boy, did you ever luck out getting that Honda 2 HP. I have one too, on my M15 and it's a jewel. Always runs; no quirks; no peeves; no sulking. It's just a happy motor, as others on the list will confirm.

I am very seldom so lucky.

The first thing I did was change out the jib sheet jam cleats for cam cleats. When I get hit by a gust, I want instant release of the jib sheet, not a fight to try and get it out of the jam cleat. It's been a complete success.

That's what I'm doing. I'm putting the sheet blocks on 18" tracks so that I can tweak the twist in the sail. I'll try to gather up an illustrated guide to Chimpanzee's rigging once I work out the bugs. What I do isn't necessarily what others would do, but it may be thought-provoking if nothing else.

Was your Reacher/Drifter for any particular boat or did you just go by dimensions?
