Re: M_Boats: Latches
Hello Larry and Listers, I'd like to install some locker latches on my M17, but need ones that don't dig into your legs while moving around the cockpit. The soft draws look fine, but I wonder how sturdy they are. We need to have a latch which is preferably metal and mounts flush. Up to this point I have been using a landyard fed from inside the locker back into the galley area to a cleat. 33 degrees in Minnesota, off to the Keys on Friday! Hi Bones, I used cast brass with chrome plate on my cockpit lockers. They are visible is several shots on Msog photo site. I installed them slightly loose so as to accpet gasketing and latch snuggly. They are also well rounded so do not to dig in if you slide your leg across one. Tom B. Monty 17 #258 On Sun, Jan 29, 2017 at 8:36 AM, bownez@juno.com <bownez@juno.com> wrote:
