Trying to see if there is interest in sailing from Rock Hall MD for a 3 day 2 night weekend. I sailed to this really nice B&B called the Black Duck Inn in Rock Hall from my home port off the Patapsco River (White Rocks Marina) on my old Precision 21. That was a 16 NM straight line course. That sail and weekend was over the July 4 th weekend and aside from it being way too hot it was a great weekend of sailing and biking. I am going to suggest that we use this Inn as our headquarters for this weekend cause THEY HAVE A DOCK out front and they are centrally located in the harbor area. Anyway I am open to suggestions for dates cause I was thinking any time in August /September as once you get into October the weather can get iffy. I am suggesting that you trailer your Monty to Rock Hall as I am positive there is a ramp in the area of the town and if we can agree to a weekend we can try and book the 7-8 rooms the Inn has and do this gathering. I would be more than happy to do the leg work on ground logistics as I have put together many weekend gathering for my cycling group. So I am only interested in hearing from those who are really INTERESTED as I plan on doing this anyway and will be flexible with my schedule if there is interest from other Monty boats. So let me know via my home e-mail. This could be fun and I hope you don't think this is restrictive to Monty's but since we are on this yahoo group it's a good start.
