M Boaters, Can anyone tell me how to successfully raise a M15 mast single handed? It seems that I need a second person to fasten the shrouds while I hold the mast steady in place. Murray Wood M 15 MMP152410283
Murray, I attach the shrouds while the mast is still in the mast carrier. Move the foot of the mast to the mast step and put in the pin. I attach the jib halyard to the bow rail. Walk the mast upright( lots of ways to do this) Take the strain on the Jib halyard and cleat it off. Attach the forestay pin. --- murray <murray@sonic.net> wrote:

You should fasten the shrouds before you raise the mast. ----- Original Message ----- From: "murray" <murray@sonic.net> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, December 02, 2002 12:54 AM Subject: Raising an M15 Mast M Boaters, Can anyone tell me how to successfully raise a M15 mast single handed?
