Dik, After having the board out of the trunk and checking all the possible ways to make it long lasting and better to upkeep I am going with a board of slightly different dimensions and made of Stainless Steel with Teflon bearings and powder coated white.Stainless wire halyard to a winch drum (then bottom paint) Mark has flattop, and has some great pictures Mike
