Jeff, I have the compact winch in my M23 #75. I have heard it was made in New Zealand and is no longer available. Perhaps Jerry can shed a bit of light on this subject. Mine still functions fine, but if a replacement was found which fits as well, I would buy a spare. That winch was made by RC Marine, formerly (a long time ago) made in So Cal, then the tooling was sold to someone in New Zea, possibly it was still called RC Marine.
